TO ALL MY LITERATURE 9 STUDES...
GREETINGS!
I have a number of
QUARTER BREAK HOMEWORK/ASSIGNMENTS for you to work on given the 9 days you are going to "
miss" seeing me and/or “
miss” being in my class.
FIRST…you have the entire Quarter Break to read, review (if you’ve read it before!), and take notes in your notebook on your next class novel…I am going to check your notes on theme, plot, conflicts, and characters as soon as we return from the break…!
SECOND…on an
A4/F12/DS/TNR, write me a short
Comparison and Contrast paragraph between the
LOTF Original Version of the movie and the
LOTF Novel Version. It does not have to be very detailed, as long as you can give
three to five points of differences between the two in paragraph form then that is okay…!
THIRD…read and understand
The BIRDS (pp. 50-75) and make sure to take notes on it for discussion purposes. Answer
Reading Check,
Shaping Interpretations,
Extending the Text, and
Challenging the Text on page 77 (NB). Two classes have already done some of this but not all of it when I was out sick…!
FOURTH…prepare for another
Literary Terms Test and a
Vocabulary Terms Test as soon as we get back from the break. Be aware that the
Literary Terms Test is going to be the
first 50 words again…!
FIFTH…on
Friday, 23 October 2009, I am going to post a blog for you to respond to. You will have the whole day of Friday and the whole day of
Saturday, 24 October 2009, to post your responses.
I am going to close that blog on the evening of Saturday between 7:00PM to 11:59PM…!
